Definition

A supply order in MANSOQ records a request to move stock from one location to another location in the same facility. For example, a ward asks the central store to send more supplies. One supply order bundles one or more requested items, and each requested item names a product and a quantity.

MANSOQ uses the same order mechanism for two purposes. A supply order requests stock from another location in the same facility. A purchase order requests stock from an outside vendor. The source that you name on the order decides which one you create. A supply order always names an internal source location in the same facility.

Both types share the same fields, the same statuses, and the same screens.
