This flow describes how to settle an account in MANSOQ and close it with a reason.
Pre-requisites
- Someone created the account, and you open its account page.
- You have the permissions listed below.
Permissions
| Permission | Access |
|---|---|
| Can Update Account | Lets you settle and close an account. Facility Admin and Admin have this permission. |
Steps
1. Start the action
Open the account page.
Click Settle & Close.
Note: Press s on the account page to start the same action.
2. Choose a closing reason
Select one of these reasons:
| Reason | What it means |
|---|---|
| Closed Bad Debt | You close the account because the balance is not collectable. |
| Closed Voided | You close the account because it is void. |
| Closed Completed | You close the account because all billing is complete. |
| Closed Combined | You close the account because it is combined with another account. |
3. Review the warnings
If the account has a negative balance, MANSOQ shows a warning before you continue.
If the account still has charge items that wait for billing, MANSOQ shows a warning before you continue.
Read each warning.
4. Confirm the closure
Confirm the action.
Expected Outcome
- MANSOQ sets the account status to Inactive.
- MANSOQ sets the billing status to the closing reason that you choose.
