This flow describes how to change the details of a product instance at a facility.
Pre-requisites
- Someone added the product instance at the facility.
- You are a member of the facility.
- You have the permissions listed below.
Permissions
| Permission | Access |

| Can Create Product on Facility | Lets you add and edit product instances at the facility. Facility Admin and Admin have this permission. |
Steps
1. Open the facility settings
Go to the facility.
Click Settings.
2. Open the product
Click Products.
Click the product that you want to change.
3. Start the edit
Click Edit.
4. Change the details
Change the fields that you want to update.
| Components | What it captures |
|---|---|
| Status | The current state of the product instance. |
| Lot Number | The manufacturer lot number of the product instance. |
| Expiration Date | The date after which you cannot use the product instance. |
| Standard Pack Size | The quantity in one standard pack. |
| Purchase Price | The price that the facility paid for the product instance. |
| Charge Item Definition | The charge item definition that MANSOQ links to the product instance. |
Note: You cannot change the product knowledge that the product instance is based on.
Note: There is no delete action. To remove a product instance from use, set the Status to Inactive or Entered in Error.
5. Save the changes
Click Save.
Expected Outcome
- MANSOQ saves the new details of the product instance.
- The product page shows the updated details.
