Interpret receivable aging, denials and operational risk

Read payer cohorts and evidence states before making collection or provisioning decisions.

Before you begin

1. Separate payer cohorts

Review insurance, government, corporate and self-pay aging with their own policies and buckets. Keep unclassified receivables visible rather than blending them into a single payer result.

2. Read denial aging as work at risk

Inspect unworked denial age and amount from response receipt. A denial is rework and delay; it does not by itself establish a realized credit loss.

3. Compare advice and cash separately

Read reported adjustments and realized bank cash on their own ledgers. Resolve unmatched remittance lines, suspense and unnotified confirmed receipts with accountable owners.

4. Review operational early warnings

Inspect certificate expiry, open decision gates, practitioner licence expiry and missing evidence. A lapsed credential or unworked response can create avoidable revenue interruption.

5. State uncertainty explicitly

If a denominator or amount is unestablished, report its unknown state. Apply local targets only when their basis, period and sample limits have been recorded.

No fabricated benchmark

The source reports “no Saudi figure located” when a primary-source national benchmark is not established. A single-center figure must not be relabeled national.

Source and screen boundary

The reporting service implements these evidence-aware measures. Availability of every measure as a specific installed dashboard widget must be confirmed in the deployment; it is not implied by the service’s existence.

Troubleshooting

Someone requests one blended DSO

Provide the payer-class breakdown and its denominator/anchor. A blended result can hide materially different collection populations and is explicitly refused by the evidence-aware reporting service.
