9. Reload and inspect the retained Error record

The same Appointment Details page remains readable after reload with Entered in Error. Review the retained patient, Doctor, schedule, Staff updater and synthetic note. Check-In and the status Actions menu are no longer shown.

Read the warning alongside the actual saved outcome

The dialog describes removal from the system. In this observed version the same appointment detail remains readable after confirmation and reload with Entered in Error, and normal authorized API reads retain the same record identity. This lesson does not demonstrate restoration or reuse of a final appointment.

Different actions have different date conditions

In this 26 October future-booking example captured on 19 October, Check-In, Mark as Fullfilled and Mark as no-show are visibly disabled, while the correction command is available. These are separate actions; use the correction control only for the intended record correction.

Troubleshooting

The correction warning was opened accidentally

Use Cancel. The pictured return state remains Booked, and the independent saved-object comparison shows no change from opening and cancelling the dialog.

The status Actions menu disappeared after the correction

Review the saved Entered in Error badge, actor and note on the retained detail. The final page no longer offers the earlier Booked status controls. This lesson does not show a reverse-status workflow.
